Where can I find The Lake Report?
All Niagara-on-the-Lake residents receive a free copy of The Lake Report in their mailbox weekly. You can also find copies of The Lake Report weekly at our office, the community centre, or at many local businesses.
Who owns Niagara Now and The Lake Report?
The Lake Report is owned by three Niagara-on-the-Lake residents, Harley Davidson (who goes by Richard Harley for his writing), Kevin MacLean and Jon Taylor.
Davidson is a lifelong NOTL resident and generational local, who believes every town needs a print news source for residents — one that isn't mixed with regional content, owned by big corporations, or muddied down with hefty fees.
Davidson founded The Lake Report in April 2018.
What is Niagara Now?
Niagara Now is the parent company of The Lake Report, owned by the same people. It's a daily regional news site focusing on the Niagara Region. Currently Niagara Now consists of a small team of dedicated journalists who strive to cover all of Niagara's individual municipalities. Due to limited resources, there is currently a heavy focus on Niagara-on-the-Lake.

What's the plan?
The Lake Report celebrated its six-year anniversary in May 2024. We will continue to bring great content to Niagara-on-the-Lake. We will keep our copies free for as long as possible.
