Who owns Niagara Now and The Lake Report?

Niagara Now and The Lake Report are owned by Niagara-on-the-Lake resident Harley Davidson, who uses the pen name Richard Harley for his writing. Davidson has grown up in NOTL and is a generational local who believed the town needed a print news source just for residents and not mixed with regional content. Davidson founded The Lake Report in April 2018 and launched Niagara Now with two partners in October of 2017, taking over the company as sole owner in April 2018.

What is Niagara Now?

Niagara Now is a daily regional news site focusing on the Niagara Region. Currently Niagara Now consists of a small team of dedicated journalists who strive to cover all of Niagara's individual municipalities. Due to limited resources, there is currently a heavy focus on Niagara-on-the-Lake.
