Find copies of The Lake Report bi-weekly at our office, the community centre, or at many local businesses, including the Sandtrap Pub & Grill, all Avondale stores in NOTL, Simpson's Pharmacy, and many more.
Niagara Now and The Lake Report are owned by Niagara-on-the-Lake resident Harley Davidson, who uses the pen name Richard Harley for his writing. Davidson is a lifelong NOTL resident and generational local, who believes every town needs a print news source for residents — one that isn't mixed with regional content, owned by big corporations, or muddied down with hefty fees.
Davidson founded The Lake Report in April 2018 and helped launch Niagara Now in 2017, taking over sole ownership of the company in April 2018.
Niagara Now is a daily regional news site focusing on the Niagara Region. Currently Niagara Now consists of a small team of dedicated journalists who strive to cover all of Niagara's individual municipalities. Due to limited resources, there is currently a heavy focus on Niagara-on-the-Lake.
We're happy to hear it — whether it's online or through our print editions, Niagara Now and The Lake Report can help your business get seen. Niagaranow.com boasts a proud following of more than 40,000 visitors monthly, and The Lake Report currently prints 10,000 copies distributed weekly to every house, farm and apartment in Niagara-on-the-Lake. With such a dedicated readership, as expressed by letters received regularly, our advertising options are some of the most effective around. As well, our sponsored story options have the potential to let thousands of people know about your business.
